Baby naming ceremonies in Lancashire
Personal ceremonies with heart, warmth and real character.
Weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies created around your story, your people and the feeling you want to remember.
Thoughtfully written. Beautifully delivered. Never copy-and-paste.
Your ceremony should be the heart of the day.
It shouldn’t feel like the bit to get through before the celebration starts. It should feel personal, meaningful and unmistakably yours.
Written from scratch.
Every ceremony is shaped around your values, your people and the atmosphere you want to create.
A ceremony shaped around your story, your values and your must-haves.
You are the expert on your life and love. My role is to work alongside you, weaving your ideas, personality and priorities into a seamless ceremony that feels warm, genuine and beautifully you.
My ceremonies are a safe, welcoming space where every guest feels seen, respected and included. My aim is simple: to create a moment that you and your guests will still be talking about for months and years to come.
Every story deserves to be told — traditional, quirky, simple, complex or completely off the wall. Let’s create something extraordinary together.
Warm, creative, experienced and never one-size-fits-all.
Hi, I’m Rebecca — a Lancashire-born celebrant who believes life’s biggest milestones deserve more than a dusty, standard script. They deserve a celebration that’s as vibrant and unique as you are.
My path to celebrancy wasn’t a straight line; it was a scenic route filled with colour, joy and connection. After more than 30 years working with children and families as a qualified teacher and award-winning wellbeing practitioner, I found myself at a crossroads.
Following redundancy and the arrival of my second grandchild, I realised I wanted a life that prioritised family joy while still making full use of my love for public speaking, people and creative storytelling. The seed of celebrancy was planted — and I haven’t looked back since.
I’m a creative soul with a love for Jane Austen, the seaside and a massive scoop of ice cream. I’m a total kid at heart who loves colour and lives for the 1980s.
Fun fact: back in the day, I proudly considered myself a New Romantic — and I still carry that expressive, joyful spirit into everything I create.
From baby namings to wedding ceremonies, I’m here to help you ditch the ordinary and create something heartfelt, memorable and wonderfully personal.
Ceremonies with heart, style and real personality.

The feeling I want to create.
“Rebecca made everything feel calm, personal and beautifully us. Our guests are still talking about the ceremony.”
Wedding client“Warm, thoughtful and full of heart. She made the whole process feel easy and genuinely special.”
Naming ceremony client“Creative, professional and incredibly reassuring from start to finish. We felt completely looked after.”
Family ceremony clientA few things couples and families often ask.
Can we involve friends and family members who have passed away?
Yes, absolutely. We can talk through your wishes and find a meaningful way to include them in the ceremony.
Will our marriage be legally recognised?
No. In England and Wales, a celebrant-led ceremony is not the legal marriage itself, so you will also need to register your marriage separately at a registry office or through a legal ceremony. A ceremony certificate can still be provided for use during the celebration and for photographs on the day.
Can we include symbols, rituals or religious elements?
Absolutely. I’m very happy to explore your wishes and include meaningful rituals, readings, music or spiritual elements that reflect you.
Do we have to use a licensed venue for our wedding ceremony?
No, you don’t. One of the joys of a celebrant-led ceremony is the freedom to choose a setting that feels right for you.
A commitment to care, professionalism and best practice.
- Fully insured, professional and prepared.
- Clear guidance on what a celebrant-led ceremony is and is not in legal terms.
- Thoughtful support with wording, readings, music and ceremony choices.
- A written draft shared in good time for feedback and refinement.
- A calm, organised presence on the day, arriving in good time to help everything run smoothly.
Rebecca works in the spirit of the Celebrant Charter, with care, transparency and a commitment to creating ceremonies that genuinely reflect her clients’ wishes.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
I’d love to hear more about you, your ideas and the kind of ceremony you want to create. No pressure — just a relaxed chat to see if we’re the right fit.
